During the hot summer month of July, a trip down the Wyoming River is the best way to cool off! There are several river rafting companies that will take you on scenic tours conquering the rapids on a trip perfect for all experience levels!

Wild West Arts Fest

The Wild West Art Fest is held July 2nd-4th and attracts 10,000 visitors to Cody, Wyoming. The annual arts and crafts show is a great place to purchase souvenirs to take back home and is free to enter. Support local when you visit the WWAF!

Annual Cody Stampede

With a tradition spanning 100 years, the Annual Cody Stampede is the cornerstone of the 4th of July festivities. The event will feature a parade downtown and a rodeo at the rodeo grounds on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. There will be a large fireworks display across the river at dusk on the fourth of July, which we highly recommend viewing!

41st Annual Runner’s Stampede

There is a 5K and 10K run and a 5K walk available to sign up for if you enjoy running! The Annual Runner’s Stampede puts you front and center in the action! All ages are encouraged to compete in the 5K, while the 10K is limited to those ages 14 and up! We recommend staying hydrated, stretching before you run, and having fun while you are here!
